Picture Obsession

Alert! Picture obsession! I'm in love with this picture... the beautiful bouquet, stunning veil / headpiece, wow pearl necklace, and delicate bridal dress. What's not to love?

Here's a disection of this gorgeous photo...

1. Bouquet. This huge round bouquet is crammed with violet and ivory shades. Purple orchids, petite and opened cream roses, white spider mums, and violet peonies with dashes of dark greenery and dusty miller make up this sensational bouquet.

2. Veil. This birdcage veil is an eye-catcher and quite the statement piece! I found either the exact same one (on etsy) or one that comes so darn close I can't tell them apart.

3. Pearl necklace. Being a sort of pearl expert ;) I'd say my inspirational bride is wearing 16mm ivory pearls tapered to 12mm. The beautiful news is I can create this exact necklace with or without a signature Harley Mae ribbon tie. If you'd like to special order one, please email me.

4. Dress. This dainty dress is probably vintage or custom made.... so I wasn't able to find it. However, BHLDN (partnered with Antropologie) has some gorgeous vintage inspired designs worth looking at. This similar lace cap sleeve dress is a comparable and based on it's reviews is amazing in person!

Baby's Breath

I’ve been noticing a lot of weddings using baby breath for bouquets. I’ve always thought of baby’s breath as a filler, but I have to admit I’m loving this trend! It’s a gorgeous budget friendly option and even better – it lasts a long time! Going by the name gypsophila, this flower will give you a heavenly, whimsical touch.

My personal favorite is having all the bridesmaid carrying nothing but baby’s breath – and then sprinkling it in the bridal bouquet.

I had a bride of mine recently send me pictures showcasing Harley Mae jewelry and couldn’t help but notice her use of baby’s breath… she actually had the baby’s breath tinted a blush pink color and I immediately fell in love.
